JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) - In order to implement the mandate of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Instruction No. 5 of 2020 concerning the Arrangement of the National Logistics Ecosystem in terms of spatial planning of the Port, PT Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok has implemented an autogate system at the Port entrance on an ongoing basis. This implementation has been started since 2019 until now. The latest is the implementation of the autogate system at post 12 Jl, Sindang Laut on July 1, 2024.
Prior to its implementation, Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok has been actively conducting socialization and education to all stakeholders and companies using the post 12 access road.
Prior to the implementation of the autogate system, PT Pelindo has also made various investments related to infrastructure at the Port, including the access road at post 12 which is very good to pass through.
During the implementation of the auto gate system at post 12, Executive General Manager of PT. Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok Adi Sugiri said, With the implementation of this autogate system, it is expected to smooth the flow of goods in and out of the Port, and prevent extortion. This is because there are no more manual or cash transactions at the Port entrance.
"Service users can use electronic cards with balances to enter the Port and employees can also use employee IDs based on electronic cards as access to gate post 12," concluded Adi Sugiri, Executive General Manager of Regional 2 Tanjung Priok.
