SURABAYA (ISL News) –
Marking 3 years since the Pelindo merger, various operational and commercial standardizations have been carried out, one of which is through the implementation of a port operating system called Single Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) based on SAP. This system is a  single platform  supporting various non-operational service activities such as FI ( Finance Accounting ), Controlling & Budgeting , HCM ( Human Capital Management ) and Purchasing

The use of SAP will be implemented gradually across all Pelindo entities after being first implemented on January 1, 2024. On July 1, 2024, this implementation was implemented at the Surabaya Container Terminal (TPS), which is the third phase of the blueprint for implementing Single ERP-SAP across the Pelindo Group.

Wahyu Widodo as the President Director of TPS said, as per the theme of TPS's anniversary this year, that in its growth journey, TPS will always adapt, including being adaptive to the demands of standardization and digitalization of services.

.

"The implementation of a single system through the implementation of a single ERP-SAP is a step towards standardizing integrated business with supporting non-operational activities aimed at increasing efficiency, transparency, and quality of service across all Pelindo entities," he said.

Various preparations for implementation have been carried out, starting from training for SAP end users in several stages intensively. In addition, socialization has also been carried out internally to all employees and externally to service users.

"All of this aims to ensure that the system transition process can run smoothly and have minimal impact on the company's services and operations," Wahyu added.

Based on the report from the joint team, the SAP system migration process went smoothly and there were no obstacles in operational activities. "The SAP system migration process has been successful, as evidenced by the success of the first online booking transaction using Pelindo Pay in a single ERP-SAP, and running as expected, both for receiving and delivery activities," said Adjie Rusbandono, one of the joint team who monitored the migration process.

With the implementation of Single ERP-SAP, Pelindo is committed to continuously developing and improving services to achieve operational efficiency, better transparency, and optimal service quality across all company entities.
