JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) -
Executive General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok,  Adi Sugiri,  in his presentation conveyed the points of the Tanjung Priok port development plan in the Integrated Tanjung Priok and Marunda RIP, namely that Tanjung Priok requires the arrangement of the existing port land, then the development of the Kalibaru terminal. Currently it can be felt through collaboration with the NPCT1 terminal covering an area of 32 hectares and currently work is also underway on NPCT2 reclamation.

Apart from that, Adi Sugiri explained that what was being awaited was related to the relocation of the Passenger Terminal which was planned to be moved to Sunda Kelapa Port, North Jakarta, so that the Tanjung Priok Passenger Terminal would be commercialized into goods activities. Likewise, cargo relocation from Sunda Kelapa will be relocated to Tanjung Priok Port, because there are already quite a lot of container and cargo activities in Sunda Kelapa.

"Meanwhile, the existing operational activities at Priok port currently include several areas, namely the Kali Japat area, the Nusantara area, areas I, II and III, the container area, the existing Kalibaru area and the line I area," he said.

Adi Sugiri revealed the short-term plan timeline for 2023 to 2027, after the Tanjung Priok and Marunda Integrated RIP was published, but various pacts in the Pelindo field have been carried out in the context of port planning, including part of accelerating port development as instructed by the Presidential Decree regarding the National Strategy. PK and NLE are the basis for accelerating the arrangement of the Tanjung Priok port.

According to him, this can be reported regarding the zoning of the Container Terminal area and the activation of trains into the Tanjung Priok Port area. 2023 - 2024 is part of the short term development plan, namely  the first  plan to develop the Inggom pier on the West and East sides.  The second  is related to bulk development, while the  third  is the construction of NPCT2, NPCT3, then dredging the port pool and building toll access to reduce congestion, where from NPCT2 there is direct access to the toll road.

Furthermore, Adi Sugiri said that the field in front of the Customs and Excise KPU office, access 009, has changed to line II access. Meanwhile, Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok's plan for 2025 is that the empty land to the south near the Health Center Office will be prepared to become a supply or transporter, then constructing road access to Jalan Martadinata, relocating the Pelni office to the Passenger Terminal so that there will be more space for container stacking and empty areas will be used.

"Meanwhile, the plan for 2026 is for the TKBM area to become a  multipurpose area , and the JICT II area will be worked on because the winner has been awarded the work, which will take approximately one and a half years. "Hopefully the work is in accordance with  the schedule  so that it can be utilized in future loading and unloading activities," concluded Adi Sugiri.
