JAKARTA (ISL News) - Executive Director of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Drajat Sulastyo on the same occasion expressed his thanks to the Ministry of Transportation for the publication of the Integrated Tanjung Priok and Marunda RIP, all of this is inseparable from the support of the Ministry of Transportation, Kenmekomarves and other institutions.
"On behalf of the management of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero)/Pelindo, we would like to express our deepest gratitude, for the publication of this RIP which is Pelindo's legal basis for implementing the development of the Tanjung Priok port," he said.
According to him, Ministerial Decree No.11 of 2024 concerning the Master Plan for Integrated Tanjung Priok and Marunda Ports, that the Tanjung Priok RIP will ultimately be integrated with the surrounding Marunda port, is very relevant.
"Because now, we know that the Tanjung Priok port area has reached Marunda, of course in the future this will be our reference for segmenting port businesses in the Tanjung Priok area and its surroundings. "This RIP is a reference for arrangements regarding terminalization in the area, especially Tanjung Priok," said Drajat.
He said that Pelindo would immediately follow up on the RIP into real work in the field because this was what Pelindo had been waiting for. In the future, there might soon be a relocation of Tanjung Priok and adjustments to all existing administration in the Tanjung Priok area. So that in the future business actors will have legal certainty and Pelindo will no longer be afraid, immediately optimizing Tanjung Priok should become a very primary land for port business.
"Pelindo will immediately follow up on the RIP, we ask for support from all parties, because all plans for the development of the Tanjung Priok port will not be able to be carried out by Pelindo alone in the future, so we ask for the support of all parties, both Ministry agencies and other relevant government institutions in the Tanjung Priok area as well as friends from Business Entities in Tanjung Priok. "To support us, Pelindo regarding the implementation of the RIP, so that it can be completed within the period determined by the RIP, both short, medium and long term, hopefully all of this can be realized according to the RIP and bring benefits to all business actors and government," concluded Drajat.
