JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) – Last Wednesday, June 26 2024, at the Tanjung Priok District Health Center, PT Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok implemented a stunting prevention program by providing milk assistance to pregnant women.
The Stunting Prevention Program is part of the PELITA (Environmental Pelindo Without Stunting Children) Program, which is one of Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok's Environmental Social Responsibility (TJSL) Work Programs and on this occasion was implemented in Tanjung Priok District.
Present at the event was Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok Senior Manager of Human Resources and Finance, Rully Nanang Sumpeniaji along with TJSL staff. Also present were the Head of the Tanjung Priok sub-district, Ade Himawan, and the Head of the Tanjung Priok Community Health Center, Dr. Sahruna.
"This program is a concern of the company in this case Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok towards the environment around Tanjung Priok port, hopefully this Pelita program will help the government to create a generation of the nation that grows healthy and smart in the future," said Rully.
The event ended with a symbolic handover of aid to the Community Health Center in the form of packaged milk for pregnant women.
