PALEMBANG INDONESIA (ISL News) - Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang once again carried out its monthly Management Walkthrough (MWT) routine activity as part of the company's commitment to strengthening safety culture, improving service quality, and ensuring optimal and sustainable port operations.
The activity, which was carried out in June 2026, was led directly by the Business Compliance Manager, Iwan Sanjaya, the management of Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang and the leaders of the Pelindo Group Regional 2 Palembang Subsidiary by conducting a review of the Non-Container Pier, Container Pier and supporting facilities at Boom Baru Port, Palembang.
Through MWT, management interacts directly with workers, conducts field observations, and identifies various improvement opportunities to increase operational effectiveness.
Management Walkthrough is one of the company's efforts to ensure the implementation of occupational safety and health (K3) standards, compliance with operational procedures, and creating a safe, comfortable, and productive work environment for all Pelindo employees.
In addition to monitoring occupational safety aspects, management also reviews the readiness of operational facilities, equipment conditions, cleanliness of the work environment, and the implementation of corporate culture in supporting reliable and quality port services.
Through regular implementation of Management Walkthroughs, Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang remains committed to providing safe, efficient, and competitive port services, while supporting the smooth flow of logistics.
