MEDAN (ISL News) - PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim (SPJM), which is one of the subholdings of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), has succeeded in carrying out deep sea piloting or what is known as Deep Sea Pilotage (DSP), for MT ships. Euridyce Delta, in the Strait of Malacca.

Safety and environmental aspects are the main things that form the basis of the services provided by SPJM in all its business streams.
Recently, SPJM received a request for pilotage services for MT ships. Euridyce Delta in Malacca waters, with the Berhala route to the Nipah STS (Ship to Ship) area. This 81,293 ton ship with a draft of 15.6 meters was serviced safely and successfully by 2 deep sea pilots who were employees of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero).
Ship guidance is very important to maintain ship safety and smooth traffic and shipping effectiveness.
PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim's Director of Strategy and Commercial, Yossianis Marciano, expressed his appreciation to all parties, especially to the scouts who have succeeded in safely carrying out their duties for this DSP.
"On behalf of the Company, I give the highest appreciation to our scouts for their success in carrying out their duties safely," said Yossianis.
The two scouts on duty for the DSP are Capt. Assyaif Al Adilin and Capt. Rustam Effendi.
He also conveyed joy and appreciation to the MT. Eurydice who has entrusted her treatment is dealt with by SPJM.
“We are very happy and appreciate MT. "Eurydice has entrusted us to carry out this service," he continued.
As is known MT. Eurydice is a fairly large ship measuring 274.22 meters long and 48 meters wide.
The Master from MT. Delta Eurydice received this DSP with satisfaction. "We mark this service as a satisfactory service from Pelindo for our ships transiting from Berhala to the STS Nipah area, which has run smoothly without any problems."
