JAKARTA (ISL News) - PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX: IPCC) along with six other companies within the Pelindo Group participated in the 2026 PELITA (Pelindo Lingkungan Tanpa Anak Stunting) Program which was held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, in Rawa Badak Utara Village, Koja District, North Jakarta.

This program is a form of Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) collaboration initiated by PT Pelindo Sinergi Lokaseva together with PT Menara Maritim Indonesia, PT Jasa Armada Indonesia, PT Multi Terminal Indonesia, IPCC, PT IPC Terminal Petikemas, and PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok. This activity is carried out in the form of nutrition education and workshops on preparing healthy menus for toddlers, targeting 30 children indicated as stunting and 30 pregnant women in the area.

This collaboration between the seven companies was motivated by a shared desire to contribute significantly to reducing stunting rates in the areas surrounding their operations. The event was also attended by representatives from the Koja District, demonstrating support from the local government.

The PELITA 2026 program is a concrete effort to support the government's target of reducing stunting prevalence through an educational and sustainable approach.

Through nutrition education, pregnant women and families of toddlers are educated on the importance of balanced nutrition from pregnancy through the golden period of child development. A workshop on healthy toddler menus is also provided so participants can directly practice how to process nutritious ingredients into appealing and easily accepted menus for children. With this practical approach, the program is expected to have a long-term impact, not just one-way education, so that the community can independently implement better nutritional parenting patterns in the future.

The Head of Rawa Badak Utara, Esther Laura Kartini, expressed her deep appreciation for the collaboration of seven companies within the Pelindo Group that initiated this program. "We truly appreciate the collaboration built by these companies within the Pelindo Group. Programs like this are greatly needed by our community, especially in efforts to prevent stunting. We hope this program can be sustainable, considering that stunting management requires consistent, ongoing support. This kind of synergy between the industrial sector and the government is key to the success of community welfare programs in the Rawa Badak Utara area," she said.

In line with this, IPCC Corporate Secretary, Roro Endah Dwi Liesly, also shared her views regarding IPCC's involvement in this program. "Children are the nation's future generations whose existence must be truly cared for in their growth and development from an early age. As part of the Pelindo Group environment operating in this region, IPCC feels it has a responsibility to be present and contribute to efforts to prevent stunting for the better growth and development of the nation's next generation. IPCC's involvement in the PELITA 2026 Program is a concrete manifestation of our commitment to the communities surrounding our operational areas. Going forward, we will continue to support various social and environmental responsibility programs that have a positive and sustainable impact on the community, especially in the areas surrounding our company's operational areas, while continuing to monitor the development of these programs so that the benefits can be felt sustainably by the community," she said.
