Pelindo Regional 2 Banten Wins "The Best PR Growth Catalyst Award" for Digital Service Innovation and Strategic Communications

BANTEN INDONESIA (ISL News) – PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Banten has once again achieved an achievement by winning the "The Best PR Growth Catalyst Award" at the 2026 Pelindo Regional 2 Public Relations Forum held on June 24-25, 2026. This award was given as an appreciation for the success of Pelindo Regional 2 Banten in presenting digital-based service innovations while developing strategic communications that provide added value for service users and the community.


The award is a form of recognition for the transformation of the public relations function which not only plays a role as a conveyor of information, but also becomes a catalyst in supporting the improvement of the quality of operational services through integrated communication innovation.


One innovation that has received attention is the development of a digital platform for information services for the 2026 Eid homecoming, which presents various important information in one channel, starting from BMKG weather information, real-time traffic conditions, dock and buffer area conditions, press releases, call centers, and other supporting information.


The presence of this platform has proven to help the public obtain information quickly and accurately while strengthening coordination between stakeholders during the implementation of Eid al-Fitr Transportation.


This success not only increases the effectiveness of public information dissemination, but also facilitates the flow of public movement, improves cross-agency coordination, and serves as a model for implementing digital communication that is projected to be applied to Pelindo passenger service terminals in other regions.


In addition to digital innovation, Pelindo Regional 2 Banten is also considered successful in presenting a relevant, informative, and educational public communication strategy by optimizing various company communication channels. This approach is implemented to ensure that all information disseminated provides service assurance, increases public understanding, and strengthens user trust in port services.


Public Relations and Customer Service Supervisor of Pelindo Regional 2 Banten, Bunga Riska Ayu Nurlita, said that the award is a motivation to continue presenting communication innovations that have a direct impact on improving service quality.


"This award demonstrates our commitment to making communication more than just a means of information, but also a catalyst for operational convenience. We continue to strive to design innovations and strengthen synergies so that every service we offer can provide certainty, convenience, and added value for all stakeholders."
