SURABAYA (ISL News, March 18, 2026) - PT Terminal Teluk Lamong (PT TTL) recorded positive performance in February 2026, with container production realization of 467,133 TEUs, a significant increase of 8.27% compared to the same period in 2025, this increase in performance is in line with the success of the Terminal's operational strategy to support increased trade and logistics distribution activities in the East Java region.
In general, the increase in PT TTL's container flow was driven by the addition of new services by several international shipping companies at TPK Lamong as well as increased ship activity at Nilam Terminal along with the addition of three domestic container ship calls. This production achievement further solidifies the company's early year progress toward achieving its 2026 target.
Syaiful Anam, Senior Manager of Corporate Secretariat and Legal Affairs at PT Terminal Teluk Lamong, stated that the year-end performance demonstrates a continued increase in user confidence in the terminal's operational services. "The increase in container volume and vessel activity is a positive indicator that PT TTL's operational services are increasingly trusted by shipping and logistics industry players. The company will continue to strive to improve service quality and terminal productivity to provide added value for users," he said.
The positive performance at the start of 2026 was also influenced by the success of the terminal's digitalization strategy, through the implementation of the Integrated Planning and Control system, which encourages increased terminal productivity while strengthening occupational safety and health (K3) aspects in the operational field.
Meanwhile, to anticipate the surge in container traffic ahead of Eid al-Fitr, PT TTL has prepared several strategies, including ensuring the readiness of terminal equipment and capacity, providing a buffer zone for the user's truck fleet, implementing a Terminal Booking system to schedule truck arrivals to the terminal, and synergizing with logistics stakeholders and service users. PT TTL guarantees that operational activities during the month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr will continue to run smoothly.
