The cruise ship with GRT (Gross Tonnage) 30277 Tons and LOA (Length Over All) 181 meters is the first time it has docked at Tanjung Perak Port, Surabaya. Ana Adiliya, General Manager of Kalimas and GSN Pelindo Regional 3 Sub Regional Java said that the ship was carrying 646 passengers and 398 crew members.
"This is the last ship to dock at Tanjung Perak Port, Surabaya and also marks the end of the series of cruise ship visits in 2024, which will then be continued on January 13, 2025, namely the Seven Seas Voyager cruise ship as the opening cruise ship at the beginning of the year." Ana said.
Ana also added that currently there are 26 cruise ship visit slots that are planned to dock at Tanjung Perak Port, Surabaya in 2025. Pelindo Regional 3 Sub Regional Java in collaboration with the Surabaya City Government Office again prepared a series of welcoming events by presenting the traditional Reog Ponorogo dance accompanied by typical Javanese music and angklung music performances from Retired Pelindo Employees. In addition, Pelindo Regional 3 Sub Regional Java also gave flower garlands to the first 10 passengers who got off the ship via the garbarata.

Udjiani admitted that his sales turnover has also increased since the visit of cruise ships at Tanjung Perak Port, Surabaya. "I was very happy when I explained the process of making this batik cloth to foreign tourists, they seemed enthusiastic to listen to my explanation and after that invited other passengers to buy my merchandise, in fact, not infrequently some of them immediately used the clothes, bags or batik sandals that I sell." said Udjiani happily.
And tourists also compete to taste various typical Indonesian foods and drinks and are seen buying various other souvenirs.
