JAKARTA (ISL News) – Passing the third year of the Pelindo merger, Subholding PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik (“SPSL”) recorded positive operational production performance growth until Q3/2024. Until Q3/2024, the operational production performance of warehousing, field, and multimodal services increased by 24%, 50%, and 79% respectively compared to the realization in the same period the previous year.
Indonesia's economic growth throughout 2024 has driven an increase in cargo volume in various company services. The increase in warehouse services includes warehouse and yard services at Tanjung Priok Port, Tanjung Perak Port, and Tanjung Emas Port.
This positive trend is also seen in Multimodal Services. Increased industrial activity in the Sei Mangkei Special Economic Zone (KEK) and other areas has driven demand on the Belawan-Sei Mangkei-Belawan, Sei Mangkei-Kuala Tanjung-Sei Mangkei, and Belawan-Pematang Siantar-Belawan routes, which have been operating since 2023.
Through multimodal solutions, PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik also seeks to improve supply chain efficiency by integrating logistics networks in various regions, including Belawan, Sei Mangkei, Kuala Tanjung, Pematang Siantar, and Padang Halaban. This multimodal solution plays a significant role in reducing logistics costs and shortening delivery times, which in turn supports the competitiveness of local products in national and international markets.

SPSL also encourages the optimization of the use of the Pelindo Tower building which is now fully operational and has reached occupancy of 80.4% in Q3/2024.
