INDONESIA – JAKARTA (ISL News) - IPC Terminal Petikemas/IPC TPK's strong commitment to implementing corporate sustainability and ensuring optimal service to customers has resulted in achievements in two award events at once.
For the first time, IPC TPK received appreciation at the Asia Sustainability Reporting Rating (ASRRAT) 2024 event organized by the National Center for Corporate Reporting (NCCR) in collaboration with the Institute of Certified Sustainability Practitioners (ICSP). The appreciation received by IPC TPK was the Commendation for Best Occupational Health and Safety Disclosure and the Commendation for First Year Participation .
On the same day, IPC TPK also won the Bronze award in the Large Organization category for Tourism, Finance, Logistics, and other services at the 2024 Indonesian National Standard (SNI) Award held by the National Standardization Agency (BSN). The award is an appreciation for organizations that consistently implement SNI with superior and sustainable performance.
Pramestie Wulandary, Corporate Secretary and External Relations of IPC TPK expressed her gratitude for the award received. This award is proof of IPC TPK's commitment to realizing a sustainable business by prioritizing the quality of container loading and unloading services and contributing to providing a positive impact on society and the environment.
In carrying out its role as a container terminal operator, IPC TPK implements sustainable business practices as a foundation by maintaining a balance between the Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) aspects. The 2023 IPC TPK Sustainability Report carries the theme " Raising The Capability for Sustainability ". The 2024 ASRRAT Award is an appreciation event for the quality of sustainability reports based on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards followed by domestic and foreign companies. The assessment is carried out by competent assessors ( Certified SR Specialists ).
After the merger of Pelindo holding, the focus of IPC Terminal Petikemas is improving the quality of port services to create a more efficient logistics chain and realize the vision of becoming an international standard container terminal operator that excels in operations and services. This is realized through service standardization, terminal performance improvement , systemization/ system upgrade as a form of implementing best practices to increase efficiency, improve the quality and security of the services provided.
This award motivates IPC TPK to improve the quality of service and contribute to creating a sustainable future. "We are optimistic that the implementation of SNI in the company can strengthen competitiveness and create business opportunities. In addition, the company's sustainability commitment can create long-term value and positive impacts that can be felt by stakeholders and the entire community," concluded Pramestie.
