INDONESIA - JAKARTA (ISL News) - PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok or known as PTP Nonpetikemas for the fourth time has again brought home the Silver award at the 2024 SNI Award in the Medium and Large Service Organization category, organized by BSN (National Standardization Agency) at the Assembly Hall, Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta.
The SNI Award is the highest award from the Government of the Republic of Indonesia on a national scale for organizations that consistently implement Indonesian National Standards (SNI) with superior and sustainable performance.
The SNI Award was held by the National Standardization Agency (BSN) in a series of National Quality Month events at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on November 21, 2024.
This year, BSN raised the theme, “Standardization for Sustainable Economic Transformation” which was attended by 251 organizations.
BSN Chairman, Kukuh S. Achmad, explained the role of SNI implementation in national economic growth.
"The implementation of SNI not only helps business actors improve efficiency and product quality, but also strengthens their position in the international market. This is part of our support to realize the national economic growth target of 8% as stated in the President's Asta Cita," said Kukuh.
PTP Nonpetikemas has successfully won the Silver award in the Medium and Large Service Organization category at the 2024 SNI Award. The assessment criteria in this category include leadership, strategy, customers, resource management, service operations, measurement, analysis, and performance improvement, as well as company performance results. This award is also proof of PTP Nonpetikemas' commitment to always implement SNI (Indonesian National Standard) in providing quality service that can protect customers and increase business competitiveness and also support the Indonesian Government's programs.
PTP Nonpetikemas has also complied with the SNI/ISO Series management system standardization in its business processes, starting from the service production line, service delivery to Marketing. This helps the company to continue to improve its positive reputation, facilitate product and service approval, increase consumer trust, expand market access, and increase stakeholder trust in terms of synergy and partnership.
"Through the achievement of the SNI Award, PTP Nonpetikemas is confident that it can achieve sustainable progress in the future. Through the achievement of the SNI award, PTP Nonpetikemas wants to prove its commitment as a non-container terminal operator that meets national standards that are also in line with the expectations of service users and related stakeholders," explained Indra Hidayat Sani, President Director of PTP Nonpetikemas.
PTP Nonpetikemas as part of the national economic driver is committed to continuing to meet standardization in all aspects of business operations such as the implementation of risk management and Company control by always maintaining the quality of service provided to port service users. PTP Nonpetikemas has implemented ISO 9001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISPS Code (International Ship and Port Facility Security Code) as a form of fulfillment of the Indonesian National Standard.
Since 2021, PTP Nonpetikemas has successfully obtained an award in this awarding in the same rank, namely Silver. This is proof of the company's consistency in maintaining quality and complying with the established standard operating procedures and regulations in force in the company.
SM Corporate Secretary Fiona Sari Utami said that PTP Nonpetikemas' consistency in maintaining the achievement of the SNI Award for four consecutive years with a Silver ranking is real evidence that the Company has implemented SNI/ISO and demonstrated high performance achievements, the ability to manage change and carry out transformation for organizational sustainability.
