The Urgency of Halal Logistics in the Modern Era
Halal logistics is not just a trend, but an increasingly urgent need in the modern era. The significant growth of the global halal product market demands a logistics system that guarantees the integrity and quality of halal products throughout the supply chain.
The implementation of halal logistics provides many benefits, both for producers, consumers, and the country. For producers, halal logistics can increase consumer confidence, expand market share, and increase competitiveness. For consumers, halal logistics guarantees the safety and halalness of the products consumed. Meanwhile, for the country, halal logistics can encourage the growth of the sharia economy and improve Indonesia's positive image in the international arena.
Indonesia has great potential to become the world's halal production center. With a Muslim majority and rich natural resources, Indonesia can meet the growing demand for global halal products.
However, to achieve this goal, Indonesia needs to increase the competitiveness of halal products, one of which is through the implementation of integrated and internationally standardized halal logistics.
Collaboration with Malaysia in the Malaysia Halal Logistics Conference 2024 is a strategic step in realizing Indonesia's vision as the world's halal producer center. Through the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices , the two countries can synergize in developing an effective and efficient halal logistics system.
Malaysia Halal Logistics Conference 2024 is an important momentum for Indonesia and Malaysia in strengthening cooperation in the field of halal logistics. This conference is expected to produce concrete recommendations and strategies in implementing halal logistics in both countries, as well as encouraging the realization of internationally recognized ASEAN halal logistics standards.
With commitment and support from all parties, Indonesia is optimistic that it can become a key player in the global halal industry and take advantage of increasingly broad market opportunities.
