Pelindo Regional 2 Supports MV Resort World One Ship Tour at Tanjung Priok Port

JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) - After successfully docking the tourist ship or cruise ship MS. Viking Mars on April 10 2023, now PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 through the Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok branch has successfully docked the Resort World One cruise ship on Sunday (16/6/2024).


The Bahamas-flagged Resort World One cruise ship, measuring 268.29 m long and weighing 75,338 GT, is one of the large cruise ships on the tourist ship docking list at Tanjung Priok port.


This cruise ship, which has a crew of 1,268, departed from Singapore (14/6/2024) and arrived at the port of Tanjung Priok on Sunday (16/6/24) at 11:00 WIB carrying 571 tourists who disembarked in Jakarta and transit passengers. 281 people will disembark in Malaysia, and the ship will depart again at 21:00 WIB.


Executive Director 2 Pelindo Regional 2 Drajat Sulistyo said that Pelindo Regional 2 as a port operator continues to strive to provide the best service, not only in the port sector, but also supports progress in the national tourism sector, including by providing service standards for cruise ship berthing in accordance with Ministerial Regulations. Transportation number 14 of 2023 concerning Foreign Yacht and Cruise Ship Services in Indonesian Waters.


With Resort World One docking, it is hoped that it will add to the list of other cruise ships that will enter Indonesia, especially in the Pelindo Regional 2 area, where previously in 2023 5 similar cruise ships had docked at Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok, including MS. Westerdam, Starbreeze, MS. Queen Elizabeth, MS. Queen Victoria, MS. Viking Mars and 1 cruise ship at Pelindo Regional 2 Teluk Bayur, namely MV. Seabourn Sojourn


Drajat Sulistyo added, Pelindo really supports the Government's efforts to develop cruise ship tourism, we together with port stakeholders continue to make improvements for the successful docking of cruise ships, one of which is port infrastructure, we also believe that with the development of cruise tourism entering Indonesia it will "It has huge potential for the country's foreign exchange," concluded Drajat Sulistyo.
