INDONESIA  (ISL News) -
Subholding PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas (SPTP) has contributed through payment of obligations to the state throughout 2023 amounting to IDR 1.51 trillion. This amount consists of IDR 1.29 trillion in tax payments, IDR 5.98 billion in non-tax state revenues (PNBP) and IDR 214.18 billion in the form of concessions.

SPTP Corporate Secretary Widyaswendra said that contributions to the country are a form of company compliance with the rules set by the government. He said the obligation to the state was a form of real support for the company which is part of the Pelindo Group for national development through the APBN.

"The contribution to the state of IDR 1.51 trillion is the total (consolidated) amount of PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas with subsidiary entities under the company's management," explained Widyaswendra, Thursday (28/03/2024).

Income tax (PPh) is the largest contributor to PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas' tax payments with a value of IDR 886.71 billion. Furthermore, value added tax (VAT) amounted to IDR 354.98 billion and land and building tax (PBB) amounted to IDR 49.84 billion.

"The amount of payment obligations to the state in 2023 is greater or increased by 11% compared to the payment in 2022 which was recorded at IDR 1.36 trillion," added Widyaswendra.

Last year, PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas reported that the amount of payment obligations to the state in 2022 was IDR 1.36 trillion, consisting of IDR 1.17 trillion in tax payments, IDR 5.4 billion in non-tax state revenues (PNBP) and IDR 179.6 billion in the form of concession.

Reporting from the website of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, it was stated that the realization of state revenue reached IDR 2,774.3 trillion (112.6% of the 2023 APBN or 105.2% of Presidential Decree 75/2023) or grew 5.3% compared to the realization in 2022.

Of the total realized state revenue, the realization of tax revenues reached IDR 2,155.4 trillion, exceeding the 2023 APBN target (106.6% of the APBN or 101.7% of Presidential Decree 75/2023), growing strongly by 5.9% from the year's realization 2022, amidst very dynamic global economic turmoil and moderated commodity prices.

This achievement of strong tax revenues was mainly supported by increasingly strong economic recovery and the effectiveness of tax reform. This tax revenue is supported by the realization of tax revenues of IDR 1,869.2 trillion, exceeding the 2023 APBN target (108.8% of the APBN or 102.8% of Presidential Decree 75/2023), a significant increase of 8.9% compared to the realization in 2022.

On the other hand, the realization of customs and excise revenues amounting to IDR 286.2 trillion (94.4% of the 2023 APBN or 95.4% of Presidential Decree 75/2023), experienced a contraction of 9.9% compared to the realization in 2022. Realization of State Revenues is not Taxes (PNBP) reached IDR 605.9 trillion (137.3% of the 2023 APBN or 117.5% of Presidential Decree 75/2023), growing 1.7% compared to the realization in 2022. This growth was influenced by an increase in Separated State Assets Income, which came from BUMN dividends and non-oil and gas natural resources revenues, although oil and gas natural resources revenues experienced a contraction due to moderation in commodity prices, especially petroleum.
