CIWANDAN BANTEN (ISL News) - To support smooth Eid transportation in 2024, PT Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk (IDX: IPCM) conducted a Management Walkthrough (Tuesday, 26/3) to Area II JAI Ciwandan Harbor and its surroundings. Ciwandan Port, Cilegon City, Banten, will be used to break up congestion and anticipate vehicle buildup at Merak Port as the busiest route on the Merak-Bakauheni crossing which serves two-wheeled or motorbike passengers during the Eid homecoming period of 2024.
The President Director of PT JAI Tbk, Shanti Puruhita, reviewed the readiness of the Tugboat fleet in Banten to ensure that the towing and ship piloting services were running according to procedures. Collaborating with Pelindo Regional 2 Banten and KSOP Class I Banten ensures the smooth operation of crossings through Ciwandan Port and its surroundings.
On another occasion, during the Holy Month of Ramadhan, PT JAI Tbk implemented the TJSL Pelindo Sharing Ramadhan 1445H/2024 Program in the form of basic food assistance, cash and takjil to the Griya Yatim Orphanage and Cilegon Orphanage as well as the Maulana Hasanuddin Cilegon Orphanage Foundation. This working visit was also to greet the crew directly on the occasion of breaking the fast together.
