SURABAYA (ISL News) - The transformation undertaken by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), or Pelindo, under the strategic direction of Danantara Indonesia, continues to show positive results.
In the first half of 2026, Pelindo recorded a 60% profit growth compared to the same period in 2025 , in line with strengthened operational performance and increased organizational effectiveness.
From an operational perspective, Pelindo's container throughput reached 9.96 million TEUs by June 2026 , representing a 7% year-on-year (YoY) growth . This growth demonstrates that the company's performance improvement is in line with real economic activity through the movement of goods at the port.
Behind these smooth operations, the reliability of port infrastructure and equipment is a crucial factor in maintaining terminal productivity. Within the Pelindo ecosystem, PT Berkah Industri Mesin Lift (PT BIMA) plays a role by providing engineering and maintenance services for port equipment to support operational continuity across its various work areas.
As a company engaged in Total Engineering Services , PT BIMA supports Pelindo's needs through mechanical, electrical, civil services, port equipment maintenance, heavy equipment procurement, as well as the provision of spare parts and other engineering needs.
