JAKARTA (ISL News) - Samudera is expanding its land transportation and logistics capacity with the addition of hundreds of new operational vehicles. Equipped with Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring technology, the new fleet enables real-time tracking to enhance delivery safety, transparency, and reliability.
This fleet expansion supports supply chain efficiency and logistics connectivity throughout Indonesia.
On the other hand, as part of its environmental sustainability initiative, Samudera has implemented a solar power generation system (PLTS) at its warehousing facility located in Cikarang.
Fully operational since mid-2026, the project consists of 1,216 solar panels with a total installed capacity of 753.92 kWp which supplies approximately 25–30% of the warehouse's electricity needs.
This initiative is projected to reduce carbon emissions by approximately 819 tons of CO2 per year, while reducing dependence on conventional energy sources and supporting operational efficiency.
This step strengthens Samudera's path towards low-carbon logistics services and responsible supply chain management.
