JAKARTA (ISL News) - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Tanjung Priok has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting community welfare through the Free Health Checkup and Food Package Sharing Program held in collaboration with the Jakarta Port Hospital at the Gerakan Utara Bergerak Building, Wednesday (8/7/2026).
A total of 235 residents around the operational area of Tanjung Priok Port received free health check-ups and basic food packages as a form of the company's concern for the health and economic resilience of the community.
Executive General Manager of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Tanjung Priok, Yandri Trisaputra, said that this program is part of the company's commitment to providing real benefits to the community around the port area.
Ports not only serve as drivers of national logistics but must also be able to provide added value to surrounding communities. Through these health checks and distribution of basic food supplies, we want to ensure that Pelindo's presence is truly felt, while also strengthening harmonious relationships with the community.
He believes that health is the primary foundation for improving people's quality of life. Therefore, Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok continues to promote various Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs that are not merely ceremonial but also have a direct impact on the beneficiaries.
This program also demonstrates the synergy between Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok and the Jakarta Port Hospital in expanding access to health services while helping to meet the community's basic needs.
"Through this activity, Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok hopes to continue strengthening its role, not only focusing on port services but also as a social development partner that grows alongside the communities surrounding the Tanjung Priok operational area," said Pukas Yandri.
