SURABAYA (ISL News) - The transformation undertaken by PT Terminal Teluk Lamong (TTL) in the five years following the Pelindo merger has once again borne fruit. The company won two national awards simultaneously on October 8, 2026, recognizing its continuous innovation and success in introducing its transformation and capabilities to the public.
The two awards are the Indonesia Logistics Awards 2026 in the Sustainable Port Innovation of the Year category held in Jakarta, and the 8th Anugerah HUMAS INDONESIA (AHI) 2026 in the Internal Media category, Video Profile subcategory, held in Surakarta.
This award marks a special moment for TTL, which recently celebrated the fifth anniversary of the Pelindo merger with the slogan "5 Years United, Together We Progress." After undergoing various stages of integration, service improvements, digitalization, and operational strengthening, TTL is now increasingly demonstrating the results of its transformation through innovations that have received national recognition.
Syaiful Anam, Corporate and Legal Secretary of PT Terminal Teluk Lamong, said that the two awards were an encouragement for all company employees to continue providing increasingly productive, efficient, and sustainable services.
"This award demonstrates the increasing recognition of the various transformational steps TTL has taken over the past five years with Pelindo. For us, innovation isn't just about introducing new technology, but rather about how the changes we make truly benefit our customers, the company, the environment, and the community," said Anam.
Continuously Developing Operational Innovation
Over the past five years, TTL has continuously improved its services. Various innovations have been implemented, including addressing the challenges of strong currents at domestic ports, implementing Berthing Priority and Berthing Windows to improve ship service certainty, and strengthening digital-based operational systems.
This transformation is further strengthened through the implementation of the Terminal Booking System (TBS), the development of the EAZI (Express Anchorage Zone Service) service to accelerate ship changes, and the integration of the management of three terminals, namely TPK Teluk Lamong, TPK Nilam, and TPK Berlian.
These various steps are part of TTL's efforts to build increasingly fast, reliable, safe, and efficient terminal services, while simultaneously increasing the competitiveness of logistics services in the East Java region and Indonesia.
Not only focusing on productivity, TTL also continues to strengthen its commitment to green ports through equipment electrification, energy efficiency, waste management, and various environmental impact reduction initiatives.
In the social sector, the company also develops a Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program that is oriented towards empowering the surrounding community, including developing MSMEs, improving community skills, and a soft-shell crab cultivation program.
This commitment is part of TTL's journey towards a smart, green, and sustainable terminal ecosystem, where business growth goes hand in hand with responsibility towards the environment and society.
Real Performance, Stronger Reputation
The awards won by TTL also reflect the importance of communication that is able to introduce the results of the company's transformation to stakeholders.
Through the development of communication media, including company profile videos, TTL strives to convey its transformation journey, service innovations, and operational capabilities in a more informative, engaging, and easy-to-understand manner.
The 2026 Indonesian Public Relations Award recognizes these efforts and emphasizes that corporate communications must be built on tangible achievements and contributions.
"For us, a good reputation isn't just built through communication, but primarily through performance and service directly experienced by our customers. The role of corporate communications is to ensure that these innovations, changes, and benefits are known and understood by our stakeholders," added Anam.
These two awards complement the various awards TTL received throughout 2026, including awards for innovation in maritime logistics services, digital transformation, and implementation of social and environmental responsibility programs.
Entering the next phase after five years of the Pelindo merger, TTL is committed to continuing its transformation through increasing productivity, strengthening the integration of the three terminals, digitalization, and developing sustainable innovation.
For TTL, awards are not the end goal, but rather recognition of the continuous improvement process as well as motivation to continue providing better services.
With the spirit of "5 Years of Unity, Together We Progress", PT Terminal Teluk Lamong will continue to strengthen its contribution in providing modern, competitive, and sustainable port services to support national logistics efficiency and Indonesia's maritime competitiveness.
