PANJANG LAMPUNG (ISL News) - Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang held a social and religious activity that included a prayer service and the distribution of donations to 31 Yatim Piatu from the Madani Welfare Foundation (Yakesma). This activity demonstrated the company's concern for the community surrounding Panjang Port and a joint effort to pray for safety, security, smooth operations, protection, and blessings for all port activities.
"This donation demonstrates Pelindo's commitment through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program. We hope this donation will continue to provide sustainable benefits through various social programs that positively impact the surrounding community," said Hardianto, General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2, Panjang.
The aid was handed over directly by the management and the Islamic Propagation Development Center (PPDI) of Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang to representatives of Yakesma. The event continued with a social gathering with the orphans.
The Head of PPDI Regional 2 Panjang, Arif Soleh, added that this activity was a form of gratitude for the blessings bestowed on the smooth operation of port activities at Panjang Port. "Hopefully, all Pelindo activities will always run smoothly and be a blessing and improve the social welfare of the community around Panjang Port," Arif said.
This social and religious activity in the form of providing assistance and praying together was carried out in all branches in the Pelindo Regional 2 area and is one of the TJSL programs.
