JAKARTA INDONESIA (ISL News) – The management of PT Multi Terminal Indonesia (MTI) and the MTI Workers Union (SPMTI) agreed on Monday (May 18) to strengthen industrial relations practices and increase the participation of each party in supporting the company's corporate actions. The agreement in this bipartite negotiation marks a strong commitment from both parties to work together to increase work productivity and fully support the integration process leading up to the merger of state-owned logistics companies.
The Management gives high appreciation to the Management and all members of the Workers' Union for the good, professional and solid relationship so far so that in line with the transformation process and business development of the Company, both parties continue to maintain strong synergy to ensure that all operational services at the terminal continue to run well and smoothly in order to maintain customer satisfaction.
"The management of PT Multi Terminal Indonesia and the Workers' Union have maintained effective communication, reflecting the maturity of industrial relations between the Management and the Workers' Union. This agreement serves as an important foundation for us to continue moving forward together to increase company productivity and support the major agenda of merging state-owned logistics entities. Both parties have agreed to jointly prioritize the principles of accountability and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in overseeing this process," said Sucahyo, Corporate Secretary of PT Multi Terminal Indonesia.
SPMTI Chairman Nurtakim expressed his appreciation for the consistently open communication between Management and Workers and emphasized the importance of future collaboration. "We appreciate the openness of PT MTI Management, especially the Acting President Director, who has consistently provided a space for intensive bipartite dialogue. All MTI Workers are ready to work hand in hand with Management to boost discipline and work productivity to ensure the success of the merger agenda of the state-owned logistics entities," Nurtakim said.
