JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) – Recently (12/05/2026) Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok implemented an Oil Spill Table Top Exercise Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).
The simulation, which involved port regulator KSOP and Pelindo's subsidiaries, used various emergency response support equipment, such as tugboats and the installation of oil booms to help control the spread of oil spills in the waters.
"This simulation also used a 300-meter oil boom, longer than previous exercises, which usually used around 150 meters," said Yandri Trisaputra, Executive General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok.
Through this activity, Pelindo Regional 2 Tanjung Priok continues to strengthen its commitment to maintaining operational safety and maritime environmental sustainability, while ensuring that port services continue to run safely, reliably, and sustainably amidst various potential emergency conditions.
