BANDAR LAMPUNG (ISL News) - In order to commemorate Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Panjang distributed 21 sacrificial cows to stakeholders and the community around Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang.
This activity is part of Pelindo's annual routine Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program which is carried out together with the Regional 2 Panjang Islamic Propagation Development Center (PPDI) as a form of social concern and the company's commitment to strengthening harmonious relations with the community and work partners in the port environment.
The distribution of sacrificial animals was carried out to various parties, including the community around the port, places of worship, partner agencies, and stakeholders who have supported the smooth operations of Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang.
Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang General Manager, Hardianto, stated that the Eid al-Adha momentum serves as a reminder of the importance of togetherness, caring, and the spirit of sharing with others. "Through this qurban animal distribution program, Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang wants to continue to provide benefits to the community and the environment around the company. This activity also serves as a form of gratitude and our commitment to continue strengthening good relationships with stakeholders and the community," said Hardianto.
He also added that the TJSL program implemented by Pelindo not only focuses on the operational aspects of the port, but also on sustainable social contributions to the community.
By carrying out this activity, Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang hopes that the spirit of Eid al-Adha can strengthen ties and bring benefits and happiness to the community receiving the qurban.
