PALEMBANG (ISL News) – To welcome Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Palembang once again demonstrated its commitment to sharing benefits with the community through the Pelindo Berbagi Qurban program. This program, part of the company's Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL), demonstrates Pelindo's concern for the communities surrounding the port's operational areas.
This year, Pelindo Group Regional 2 Palembang, including PT IPC TPK Area Palembang, PT PTP Palembang Branch, PT JAI Region IV Palembang, PT Multi Terminal Indonesia Regional 3 Palembang, PT EPI Site Palembang, and PT BIMA Site Palembang distributed 19 sacrificial animals, consisting of 17 cows and 3 goats, to the community and various stakeholders in the port's Ring 1 area. The assistance was distributed to mosques, neighborhood associations (RT), and security elements that have been supporting the smooth running of port activities.
The General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Palembang, represented by the Commercial Manager, Darmawi, said that this activity is part of the company's efforts to continue to be present and provide real benefits to the community.
"We distribute sacrificial animals every year through the Company's TJSL program, we hope that in the coming year there will be even more, this is our hope and hopefully the sacrifices we make will bring blessings to all of us and become a field of charity for friends who make sacrifices and this is our form of sharing with others in this month of Hajj, we hope that it can be distributed well to friends in need around him."
The Head of Ilir Timur II Subdistrict, Palembang, also expressed his appreciation for the program, represented by Fajar Setiawan, SH, Head of Public Order and Public Order of Ilir Timur II Subdistrict, Palembang City. He stated that Pelindo's commitment to the program serves as a positive example for businesses in building positive relationships with the community.

The sacrificial animals were distributed to several beneficiary locations, including the Nurul Ikhlas Mosque, the Muhajirin Mosque, the Ar-Ridho Mosque, and several neighborhood units (RT) in the Lawang Kidul and Sungai Lais areas. This distribution was carried out evenly to ensure the benefits directly benefited the communities surrounding the company's operational areas.
