JAKARTA INDONESIA (ISL News, April 2026) — PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok or PTP Nonpetikemas, which is part of the Pelindo Group, recorded stable operational performance in the first quarter of 2026. Until that period, the total non-container throughput, which includes general cargo, dry bulk, liquid bulk, and bag cargo, was recorded at 12.04 million tons, indicating maintained performance amidst the dynamics of national logistics flows.

Of the total throughput, dry bulk continues to dominate at 46%, followed by liquid bulk at 25%, general cargo at 24%, and bag cargo at 5%. This composition indicates that the dry bulk segment remains the primary service, contributing significantly to liquid bulk growth.

In the first quarter of 2026, liquid bulk production reached 3.09 million tons, representing a 16% increase compared to 2.67 million tons in the same period in 2025. This achievement also demonstrated strong performance, exceeding the 2.52 million tons target set in the first quarter of 2026 by 23%.

Meanwhile, dry bulk, the operational backbone, recorded a realization of 5.76 million tons, which is an increase compared to the previous year and in line with the set target.

For other segments, general cargo reached 2.92 million tons, a 5% increase compared to the previous year. Bag cargo reached 656,000 tons, a slight decrease of 3.3% year-on-year. Nevertheless, both segments remained within manageable performance limits.

PTP Nonpetikemas President Director Indra Hidayat Sani stated that the company's performance at the beginning of this year demonstrates its operational resilience in facing the dynamics of logistics flows.

"The first quarter of 2026 performance shows that PTP Non-Container operations continue to run optimally, supported by improvements in the liquid bulk segment. We continue to strive to maintain balanced performance across all business lines by improving services and optimizing facilities," said Indra.

Operationally, the largest contribution to the liquid bulk segment comes from several key branches, such as Teluk Bayur, Pontianak, and Jambi, which record significant volumes. Meanwhile, in the dry bulk segment, the Tanjung Priok, Panjang, and Pontianak branches are the main pillars of the company's throughput.

In line with this trend, the increase in the liquid bulk segment also reflects the strengthening distribution of strategic national commodities, including energy and industrial raw materials. This demonstrates the increasingly crucial role of non-container ports in maintaining a smooth domestic supply chain, particularly in supporting the needs of the industrial and manufacturing sectors across Indonesia.

On the other hand, stable dry bulk performance and maintained general and bag cargo volumes indicate that national logistics activities remain resilient. Non-containerized PTP, as part of the Pelindo Group ecosystem, continues to play a role in ensuring inter-regional connectivity.

running optimally, while supporting the even distribution of goods and strengthening the national economy.

In the first quarter of 2026, PTP Non-container participated in the BUMN Joint Homecoming (Mudik Bersama) by providing four buses on the Jakarta-Purwokerto round-trip route. The buses carried 200 travelers, who departed together as part of the Mudik Bersama flag-off for the Pelindo Group. This contribution was implemented as a form of PTP Non-container's Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) towards the community.

"We will continue to optimize our performance, both operationally and in terms of our business, to ensure customer satisfaction and as a key logistics channel, particularly for non-containerized packaging. Furthermore, we will strive to play a role in the community through appropriate Social and Environmental Responsibility, tailored to the needs of the community," said Fiona Sari Utami, Senior Manager of Corporate Secretary.

PTP Nonpetikemas continues to strengthen its operational performance by improving service reliability, optimizing equipment, and utilizing integrated digital systems to support efficiency and transparency in business processes. These steps are part of the company's commitment to providing the best service to customers and supporting the smooth flow of national logistics.
