ILCS Collaborates with Pelindo Group to Open the Way for Women's UMKM to Digital Transformation

JAKARTA (ISL News, April 21, 2026) - In commemoration of Kartini Day, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo, together with PT Integrasi Logistik Cipta Solusi or Pelindo Solusi Digital synergize through the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program to present the Her Impact program, an empowerment initiative aimed at strengthening the capacity of women Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) to be able to adapt and develop amidst the acceleration of digital transformation.


This program is attended by female UMKM under Pelindo's guidance as part of the company's commitment to promoting women's economic independence. Through Her Impact, participants are equipped with an understanding of digital platform utilization, marketing communication strategies, and skills in creating effective creative content to expand their business's promotional reach.


Pelindo Solusi Digital's Commercial & Business Development Director, Agus Dharwaman, in his remarks stated that women have a strategic role in driving economic growth, particularly through their contribution to the micro, small, and medium enterprise sector.


According to him, the momentum of Kartini Day serves as a reminder and strengthens the company's commitment to continue presenting programs that have a real impact on women's empowerment in various sectors.


"Digital transformation is no longer an option, but a necessity. Through Her Impact, we want to encourage women-owned UMKM to become more digitally literate, utilize various platforms, and expand their markets globally," she said.


Meanwhile, Ilham Leman, Department Head of TJSL Pelindo also said that "through the Her Impact program, Pelindo not only encourages increasing the capacity of women UMKM actors in the digital era, but also strengthens the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, especially in the aspects of gender equality and social inclusion, by opening wider access for women to be economically independent, and have sustainable competitiveness amidst the ever-growing business transformation," he added.


The program featured Endah Ansoerodin, owner of the culinary business Dapur Sunda, who shared her experiences building a business while adapting to digital technology. In the session, participants gained insights into the importance of business resilience, innovation, and the courage to seize new opportunities amidst changing market behavior.


In addition, Malaikha Dayanara also presented material on effective digital content strategies to increase sales and strengthen the brand identity of MSMEs on digital platforms.


This session provided participants with practical insights into how to build more relevant communications with consumers through social media and other digital channels. Through Her Impact, Pelindo Group hopes to continue encouraging the emergence of adaptive, innovative, and competitive female UMKM, while strengthening women's contributions to driving sustainable national economic growth.
