PTP NonPetikemas Panjang Branch serves various types of cargo, ranging from dry bulk such as fertilizer, spit stone, soybeans, raw sugar, salt, clinker, and corn, to liquid bulk such as CPO, POME, RDB PO, asphalt, and diesel, as well as general cargo such as heavy equipment and railway facilities. Terminal facilities are supported by a 1707-meter-long pier and a 24,292-square-meter field, as well as modern equipment such as gantry luffing cranes, grabs, jib cranes, hoppers, forklifts, rampdoors, POME pumps and weighbridges to support smooth loading and unloading.
Throughout 2025, PTP Non-container Panjang Branch recorded positive operational results, marked by smooth loading and unloading services and improved customer service quality. One strategic activity was the handling of imported locomotives from the United States, which was carried out in stages from mid-July to the end of 2025, with a total delivery of 54 units.
The realization of the ton/ship/day (T/S/D) performance of PTP Non-container Cabang Panjang until the first quarter of 2026 can be seen from various achievements per packaging such as general cargo 2,172 T/S/D, bag cargo 743 T/S/D, liquid bulk 3,044 T/S/D, and dry bulk 3,714 T/S/D.
The activity demonstrated the branch's operational capabilities in handling special cargo with high safety standards, while strengthening logistics integration between ports and rail transportation in the southern Sumatra region.

In the first quarter, PTP NonPetikemas Panjang Branch has also shown a positive trend with a throughput achievement of 1.3 million tons with a distribution of 920.46 thousand tons of dry bulk, 249.54 thousand tons of liquid bulk, 109.63 thousand tons of bag cargo, and 52.61 tons of general cargo which shows a total revenue growth of 5% of the target, this is influenced by the new market share obtained and strategic collaboration with several service users.
"The Panjang Branch's working area, which covers the hinterland of southern Sumatra, is also supported by superior commodities such as coal and agro-industrial products, which are the main drivers of logistics activity in the region," added Doddy.
