JAKARTA (ISL News, March 12, 2026) – PLP Kelas 1 Tanjung Priok participated in the Opening Ceremony for the Mudik Lebaran Iedul Fitri 1447 Hijriah, which was held at the Nusantara Pura II Passenger Terminal, Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta, Thursday (12/3/2026).
The opening ceremony was led by the Director General of Sea Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, represented by the Director of Sea Traffic and Transportation, Capt. Budi Mantoro, M.Si., M.Mar. This activity was attended by various related elements, including government agencies, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI)/Indonesian National Police (Polri), shipping operators, and stakeholders in the port and sea transportation sectors.
The roll call marked the start of the 2026/1447 H Eid al-Fitr Sea Transportation which will take place from March 13 to March 31, 2026, as a follow-up to the Instruction of the Director General of Sea Transportation regarding the Implementation of the 2026 Eid al-Fitr Sea Transportation.
The participation of the PLP Kelas 1 Tamjung Priok in this activity is a form of commitment to supporting supervision, security, and enforcement of shipping safety and security, especially during the Eid al-Fitr Sea Transportation period which is expected to experience a significant increase in public mobility.
Through this readiness roll call, all elements involved are expected to further strengthen coordination, collaboration, and synergy across agencies to ensure that sea transportation during the Eid al-Fitr period runs safely, orderly, smoothly, and securely for all users of sea transportation services.
Passenger safety is a top priority in every aspect of maritime transportation operations, from fleet readiness, increased shipping supervision, to optimizing services at ports.
Head of the PLP Kelas 1 Tanjung Priok, Fourmansyah, SH, MH, MM, said that his party had prepared personnel and patrol fleets to support supervision and security of water areas during the Eid al-Fitr Sea Transportation period.
"The PLP Kelas 1 Tanjung Priok is committed to continuously improving personnel readiness and optimizing the patrol fleet to ensure shipping safety and security are maintained, so that people can travel home and return safely, orderly, and comfortably," he said.
By implementing shipping safety patrols and intensive surveillance in the waters, the PLP Kelas 1 Tanjung Priok Base strives to minimize the potential for disruption to shipping safety and support the smooth mobility of the community during the Eid al-Fitr sea transportation period.
With strong synergy between the government, security forces, shipping operators, and all stakeholders, the implementation of the 2026 Eid al-Fitr Sea Transportation is expected to run optimally and provide safe, secure, orderly, and comfortable sea transportation services for the public.
