SURABAYA (ISL News, March 12, 2026) - PT Terminal Teluk Lamong (TTL) has once again achieved success at the national level by winning two awards at the 15th BUMN Award 2026 event held at the Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta, Tuesday (10/3/2026).
At the event, PT Terminal Teluk Lamong won the Best State-Owned Enterprise Subsidiary award in the Digital Transformation category, while TTL President Director, David P. Sirait, was awarded the Best CEO award in the Leading Change and Innovation category for his leadership in driving transformation and innovation within the company.
The Chairman of the 2026 BUMN Award Jury, Dr. Ir. Arief Yahya, M.Sc., stated that SOEs are currently entering a new phase of transformation. Corporate governance no longer only emphasizes compliance aspects, but also system integrity, transparency in decision-making, and adaptive risk management.
According to him, the creation of sustainable economic value requires SOEs to be not only profit-oriented, but also to ensure business sustainability, business resilience, and provide a multiplier effect for the national economy.
This award is a form of appreciation for PT Terminal Teluk Lamong's commitment to driving digital transformation in the port sector through various technological innovations and strengthening operational systems that support increased terminal service efficiency.
President Director of PT Terminal Teluk Lamong, David P. Sirait, who was present to receive the award, stated that this achievement was the result of the hard work of all company employees and strong collaboration with various stakeholders.
According to him, digital transformation is not only related to the application of technology, but also involves changes in work culture and company strategy to provide superior service to customers.
"This award is a motivation for us to continue to grow and innovate. TTL will continue to develop sustainable innovations to improve company performance, maintain competitiveness amidst the dynamics of the logistics and port industry, and provide increasingly fast, efficient, and reliable services to customers," he said.
Digital transformation at TTL is also strengthened through increased system resilience and integration of operational systems between terminals under TTL management, namely Terminal Teluk Lamong, TPK Berlian, and TPK Nilam. This integration is carried out to improve operational efficiency while strengthening East Java's role as a vital node in the national logistics network.
Several innovation programs currently being implemented include the implementation of the Terminal Booking System (TBS) and the implementation of the Berthing Priority System, which aims to improve overall terminal operational efficiency.
The Terminal Booking System (TBS) is a digital system that allows for more planned and integrated truck arrival schedules through the arrangement of arrival time slots. This system helps reduce vehicle queues in the terminal area, streamlines logistics flows, and increases the efficiency of service processes at the terminal gate.
Meanwhile, TTL also implements a Berthing Priority System to improve the effectiveness of ship berthing planning at the terminal. This system allows for more planned, transparent, and efficient prioritization of ship services.
The implementation of Berthing Priority at the dry bulk terminal managed by TTL is even one of the first and to date the only one implemented in Indonesia, as an effort to provide certainty of ship services while optimizing the utilization of dock facilities.
Through these various innovations, TTL continues to strengthen digital transformation in terminal operations to increase productivity, accelerate services, and provide better service assurance for customers and service users.
The BUMN Awards is an annual award event given to state-owned enterprises (BUMN) and subsidiaries that are deemed to have superior performance, sustainable business innovation, and leadership capable of leading the organization to grow adaptively and competitively.
