JAKARTA (ISL News, March 12, 2026)  – Amidst the solemn atmosphere of the holy month of Ramadhan 1447 H, PT Multi Terminal Indonesia (MTI) strengthens its commitment to social care through a series of Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) actions.

This activity is part of the “Pelindo Shares Ramadhan” program initiated by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero).

Besides being a form of gratitude, this action is designed to ease the economic burden on the community while strengthening harmonious relations between companies and stakeholders in the logistics sector ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

MTI's caring actions encompass three main pillars: Appreciation for the Frontline: Distribution of 150 packages of takjil (breaking fast) to truck drivers who continue to work to maintain the flow of logistics during the fast-breaking period. Food Security:

Distribution of 563 basic food packages to stevedores (TKBM) who are the backbone of field operations. Sharing Joy: Providing assistance to 240 orphans around the company's work area.

This program reaches strategic points in PT MTI's business areas in Regional Logistics 1, 2, and 3, including Jakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Pontianak, Banjarmasin, Makassar, Ambon, Bitung, Lampung, Palembang, Jambi up to Natuna.

PT MTI Corporate Secretary, Sucahyo, stated that Ramadan is a crucial time for the company to be directly present in the community. "We want to ensure that PT MTI's presence is felt not only through logistical and operational activities, but also through concrete actions that touch the human heart," Cahyo said.

He added that the activity of distributing takjil to truck drivers also provides an opportunity for small businesses to grow, because every iftar dish distributed is the result of collaboration with small businesses around the company.

For MTI, true success is when business progress goes hand in hand with the welfare of the surrounding environment. Cahyo also explained that this activity actively involved nearly 100 company employees through the spirit of Employee Social Responsibility (ESR).

"The workers joyfully participated in the symbolic distribution of aid at each work location. We want to foster empathy and social awareness within every MTI employee, so that this spirit of sharing becomes a sustainable corporate culture," he concluded.
