SURABAYA INDONESIA (ISL News) - PT INKA (Persero) has again shipped three locomotive platforms to Australia for United Group Limited (UGL). This shipment is part of the fulfillment of a previously agreed procurement contract for 50 units.
With these deliveries, PT INKA (Persero) will have delivered 13 locomotive platforms by the end of 2025. This achievement demonstrates the delivery progress, which is on track and reflects PT INKA's consistency in serving the international market.
Senior Manager of Public Relations and Representative Office of PT INKA (Persero), Hartono, said that the shipment at the end of this year was a positive record for the company.
"At the end of 2025, we successfully delivered three locomotive platform units to Australia. Then, in early 2026, we will send another train to Australia for a different type. We see this achievement as a good momentum to maintain sustainable deliveries and kick-start INKA's export performance in 2026," he said.
Shipping is carried out through the Surabaya Container Terminal, involving coordination between companies to ensure the entire logistics process runs smoothly and meets export requirements.
PT TPS's Senior Vice President of Commercial and Business Development, Bayu Setyadi, said that his company continues to support the export activities of national manufactured products.
"TPS is committed to supporting the smooth export of Indonesian railway products so they can be accepted and compete in the global market," said Bayu.
Hartono further explained that the collaboration with UGL has been ongoing. "In addition to locomotive platforms, INKA has also delivered around 1,000 flat wagons to UGL to date. This is part of the company's global expansion efforts and demonstrates the trust of international partners in INKA's products," he explained.
