JAKARTA (ISL News) - December 2025. Located at the Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta, President Director of PT Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk (IDX: IPCM), Shanti Puruhita received the prestigious award in the Best Performance: Outstanding Women in Maritime & Port Sector category at the Woman Empower Woman Award (WEWA) 2025 event.

This award is a form of appreciation for dedication and contribution in encouraging the increase in the role of women and creating an inclusive work environment to support the progress of the maritime and port sector in Indonesia.

Carrying the theme "One Woman Inspiring a Thousand Generations," the event, organized by Kebaya Indonesia Magazine and Inspiratif Magazine, aims to highlight the role of empowered, creative Indonesian women who have made a real contribution to the nation's progress across various sectors.

This award is supported by the Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment, the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, the Ministry of Industry, and Made in Indonesia Network Fest 2026, and was attended by inspiring female figures from various sectors across Indonesia.

"Thank you and our highest appreciation for the award given. This award is not only for me personally, but also for the entire IPCM team who have supported the realization of an inclusive work environment and encouraged the increasing role of women both internally and externally in the Company," said Shanti Puruhita.

For IPCM, providing an inclusive work environment, providing equal employment opportunities and self-development based on competency is closely related to the Company's commitment to supporting the government's Asta Cita program number 4, strengthening gender equality and strengthening the role of women, as well as realizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), where Inclusivity directly supports several global goals, namely SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 5: Gender Equality, and SDG 10: Reducing Inequality.

"The role of women in the industrial world, especially maritime, is not only part of the gender equality issue, but increasing women's involvement is a key strategy in driving organizational performance and business sustainability," concluded Shanti Puruhita.
