JAKARTA INDONESIA (ISL News) - IPC Terminal Petikemas/IPC TPK, a subsidiary of Pelindo Terminal Petikemas/SPTP, provides education through First Aid Training for workers to be better prepared in dealing with emergency situations and save more lives. In organizing this training, IPC TPK collaborates with PMI North Jakarta as the training material provider. This activity is a TJSL program in the framework of the 2025 National K3 Month organized by IPC TPK.
"Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is a very important aspect in the world of work and daily life. One of the main skills in K3 is the ability to provide first aid in the event of an accident or emergency," said Pramestie Wulandary, Corporate Secretary & External Relations of IPC TPK in her speech.
According to PMI North Jakarta, this First Aid Training was held for the first time in the Pelindo Group environment in the Tanjung Priok area. The training, which was held for two days, outlined the theory of human anatomy, the theory of emergency rescue procedures, and rescue practices with supporting equipment. A total of 27 participants consisting of workers from all IPC TPK work areas participated in the training with great enthusiasm.
Sarjono Trainer PMI North Jakarta expressed his appreciation to IPC TPK for organizing this First Aid Training. He said, this training is very important for workers in a company in order to protect each other between workers.
This training is in line with the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Number PER.15/MEN/VIII/2008 concerning First Aid for Accidents in the Workplace where it is the Employer's obligation to appoint and assign competent first aid officers and the Employer is responsible for ensuring the availability and readiness of facilities and first aid officers at all times.
"Hopefully, workers can understand how to deal with emergency conditions and become knowledge when providing first aid to coworkers and the surrounding environment," Pramestie concluded.
