
JAKARTA INDONESIA (ISL News) - IPC Terminal Petikemas/IPC TPK, a subsidiary of Pelindo Terminal Petikemas, has once again been trusted by Pelayaran Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC Line) to serve the New Service Bayan Ko which travels to five countries from Jakarta - Batangas - Manila North - Davao - Shekou - Hong Kong - Yantian - Hochiminh - Vung Tau - Singapore - Tanjung Pelepas - Port Klang. This inaugural voyage was opened with the docking of MV MSC Tara III at Terminal 3 IPC TPK, Tanjung Priok Port.
"IPC TPK supports innovation of shipping companies in presenting the opening of new services to respond to the growth of trade volume to ASEAN countries and China which have positive trade trends and show an increase in export value in the 2024 period. Last year, IPC TPK carried out various operational transformations, digital transformations and equipment electrification as an effort to present improved performance and service efficiency." said Pramestie Wulandary, Corporate Secretary & External Relations of IPC TPK.
Guna Mulyana, President Director of IPC TPK, accompanied by IPC TPK management, welcomed the new service with Hayati Koenda, DGM Commercial MSC Line and Bimo Nugroho, Country Sales Manager MSC Line at the pier at Terminal 3 IPC TPK, Tanjung Priok Port on February 1.
The Monrovia-flagged ship has a LOA of 200 meters and a BEAM of 32 meters. The ship unloaded 369 boxes at IPC TPK . MV MSC Tara III with Bayan Ko Service replaces the MSC Line service previously called Lang Co Service by adding several new destinations to its route, and is the first service connecting Jakarta with Manila North Harbor.
"We would like to thank MSC Line for entrusting this new service to dock at IPC TPK. IPC TPK will continue to prioritize optimal services based on planning and control and berthing on arrival to shorten the time the ship docks at the Port ( port stay )," concluded Pramestie.
