This was conveyed by Pelindo President Director Arif Suhartono in his direction at the celebration welcoming the New Year 2025 with the theme "End with Reflection, Begin with Ambition: a Journey Towards Maritime Ecosystem Leader" which took place in a hybrid manner from 5 cities, namely Medan, Jakarta, Surabaya, Makassar, and Bitung by involving all Pelindo Group personnel in their respective regions, Tuesday (31/12/2024).
This activity was also attended by the Board of Commissioners and Directors of Pelindo, as well as the directors of all subholdings and subsidiaries, which was designed as a momentum for reflection on the achievements and challenges faced throughout 2024, as well as fostering a new spirit in moving towards Pelindo's grand vision of becoming a world-class, integrated maritime ecosystem leader.
This event also invites all Pelindo personnel to reflect on strategic achievements in 2024, including strengthening port infrastructure, innovation in logistics technology, and success in creating better maritime connectivity.
On that occasion, Arif Suhartono expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders who have supported Pelindo's efforts so far. "Thank you for all the support, participation, contribution, as well as criticism and suggestions. Once again, we express our gratitude," he said.
"On behalf of myself and the entire Pelindo Management, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for all the support so far, especially to my friends in the operational field. Alhamdulillah, we are gathered at this event in good health, may we always be given health, strength and patience to build a small scale is Pelindo, a large scale is the country of Indonesia. I convey why ports are very vital, because trade through the sea is very dominant and is very important," said Arif Suhartono.
In addition, he also expressed his gratitude to all Pelindo Group personnel for their enthusiasm and real contribution throughout 2024.
The President Director of Pelindo also conducted an evaluation of what had been done in 2024, especially in the field of the Company's Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL), so that it can continue to run well this year. He hopes that there will be improvements, especially for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that have been fostered by Pelindo.
"I hope that in 2025 there will be an increase. Of course it would be better if the number of MSMEs differs from year to year," he said.
He also appreciated the role of the Pelindo Employee Wives Association (PIP) who have provided many improvements through several programs that have been implemented in the port area and have had quite a large and extraordinary impact, thus providing quite a lot of changes. "I see that currently many ports have become much tidier, much cleaner, and much more beautiful."
He also asked all Pelindo personnel to guard this country wholeheartedly and also always be grateful professionally, namely by working well, ensuring that tomorrow is better than today.
"If the way for believers to be grateful is by expressing gratitude to their respective Gods, and the way for professionals to be grateful is by working well, to ensure that they can give their best from the previous day," said Arif Suhartono.

In addition to the direction of the President Director of Pelindo, in the activity held to close the end of 2024, a fruit cone-shaped rice cutting was also held, which is a symbol that in this year and in the years to come, all Pelindo employees will always live a healthy lifestyle.
Then continued with the "Pelindo Creativity Corner Insan Pelindo Group Makassar working area" which was filled with interesting entertainment with cash prizes for the winners, such as singing, poetry reading, stand up comedy, and traditional dance performances from several regions in Indonesia.
Then there was also a distribution of door prizes with various attractive prizes, and closed with a kahoot quiz which also provided cash prizes for the winners in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place categories.
