CIWANDAN BANTEN INDONESIA (ISL News) — PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Banten welcomed the new year by holding a release and welcoming event for the last ship to dock in 2024 (Last Ship Call) and the first ship to be served in 2025 (First Ship Call) at Ciwandan Port Pier, Thursday (02/01/2025). This event is a real manifestation that confirms Pelindo's commitment to providing the best service while strengthening relationships with customers.
The release was carried out by Joko Umardani, Junior Commercial Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Banten, Andi Purwantoro Branch Manager along with the management of PT PTP Multipurpose Terminal Banten Branch, representatives of the management of PT Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk (JAI) Area II Banten and Subholding Pelindo Jasa Maritim (SPJM) to the Indonesian-flagged MT. SUCCESS ENERGY XXXII with a Gross Ton (GT) of 4,884T. This ship is carrying a cargo of Paraxylene belonging to PT Indorama Petrochemical of 6,651.87 tons.
Meanwhile, the welcoming of the First Ship Call in 2025 was carried out by Ivan Zulhivan Plh General Manager of Regional 2 Banten to the MV. STR LUCKY ship with a Panamanian flag with a ship length (LOA) of 169.30 meters. This ship carries a Steel Billet cargo of 26,057 tons belonging to PT Inter World Steel Mills Indonesia and PT Krakatau Osaka Steel from Incheon Port with a final destination of Ciwandan Port.
This activity was carried out as an expression of gratitude for the achievements made in 2024 and hopefully in the following year it will be even better to synergize with customers harmoniously and collaboratively in order to improve port services and port-related services within PT Pelindo (Persero) Regional 2 Banten in the coming year.
Pelindo Management also expressed its appreciation and gratitude for the cooperation and trust of cargo owners and shipping lines in early 2025 with the arrival of the Panama-flagged MV HOANH SON GLOBAL with a ship length (LOA) of 224.00 meters carrying a wheat cargo of 24,000 tons and the Marshall Islands-flagged MV YASA NESLIHAN with a ship length (LOA) of 228.00 meters carrying a Soyabean Meal cargo of 31,865 tons.
