BELAWAN MEDAN (ISL News) - Awareness of occupational safety for all parties involved in container terminals is absolutely necessary. As a company commitment to the aspect of "safety" periodically, PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas (SPTP) conducts occupational safety understanding to internal and external parties of the company.
This time, SPTP again provides occupational safety understanding to all unloading and transshipment workers (TKBM) who work in the container terminal area. The socialization of "Safety Awareness" was held simultaneously in all terminals managed by SPTP.
This activity also invited the Head of the Harbor Master and Port Authority Office (KSOP) as the TKBM supervisor, to collaborate in efforts to support improving safety standards in the terminal area.
In this activity, SPTP also actively campaigns for the importance of SMS, namely Safety Induction, Minimum Requirement for Safety, and Terminal Sterilization to ensure that all safety procedures are implemented thoroughly.
This activity is expected to increase awareness and compliance of workers regarding the importance of safety in operational activities at the terminal.
With this simultaneous socialization, SPTP shows its commitment to not only meet applicable safety standards but also improve work safety culture.
