SURABAYA (ISL News) - Approaching the last month of 2024, PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya (TPS) has again received recognition. This recognition was obtained through the BUMN Branding & Marketing Award 2024 event organized by BUMN Track, attended by more than 100 participating companies consisting of BUMN Companies and BUMN Subsidiaries. The award was received by the Corporate Secretary on Thursday (14/11) in Jakarta.
"Various stages starting from in-depth study of the material to presentation must be passed by each participant in order to test the consistency of the implementation of innovation by utilizing technology as a marketing strategy that has a significant impact on Customers and all Stakeholders in the Company ," said Erika A. Palupi, Corporate Secretary of TPS explaining the assessment process in this event.
At the 2024 BUMN Branding & Marketing Award, a panel of judges consisting of experts with various disciplinary backgrounds and practitioners in the field of Branding and Marketing assessed the implementation of innovation programs and marketing strategies. From the innovation aspect, the Jury assessed digitalization, teamwork within the company and customer satisfaction. Meanwhile, for the marketing strategy aspect, the Jury assessed communication strategies towards customers, the relevance of branding to marketing strategies and the company's degree of responsiveness in responding to changes and customer needs.
In this year's event, TPS participated in 2 Categories, namely Brand Innovation and Brand Strategy Excellence by showcasing innovations in the field of Longstay Container Monitoring.
Longstay Container Monitoring is an application to facilitate monitoring and accelerate the completion of longstay containers. Previously, monitoring of longstay containers was done manually. The Customs Storage Depot (TPP) Line 2 which is a TPS customer must first send an email to the TPS Officer regarding proof of transfer and submission of a request for container release. In this way, there is a potential risk that the email will not be read or the recipient's email is full so that it cannot receive information about the request for longstay container release from the Customer. This mechanism has changed through the application so that there is a transformation from manual to digital. With this new mechanism, Customers do not need to send an email but simply make transactions through the Clique247 Application, Customers can create a Job Order or Electronic Container Equipment Interchange Receipt (E-CEIR) with the Delivery Long Stay (DLS) code so that they can release longstay containers from the TPS area.
"With the Longstay Container Monitoring Application, it can reduce the Customer waiting time from submitting a longstay container release request to creating a Job Order which was previously 3-4 hours to 15-30 minutes," Erika explained.
The program carried out by TPS succeeded in winning the 2024 BUMN Branding & Marketing Award, namely Impact on Satisfaction & Loyalty Level (Silver) .
"This achievement is not merely a form of appreciation for the efforts made by TPS in fulfilling its social responsibility to stakeholders, but also a form of recognition of TPS's existence as an entity that continues to move forward, adapt and improve itself to become better, " said Wahyu Widodo, President Director of TPS when asked for his opinion on this achievement.
TPS also received recognition and awards through the BUMN TJSL Award event held by BUMN Track in July 2024. Through the TJSL program in the form of Construction of Drilling Wells and MCK in Sumberwaru Village, Pamekasan, Madura, TPS received the Five Star Award (Platinum) , each for the Economic Pillar and Implementation of Law & Governance at the 2024 TJSL & CSR Award event.
