JAKARTA (ISL News) - PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) (“BKI”) as the Lead Holding BUMN Jasa Survey won an award at the BUMN Business Forum 2024 event held at the Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta on Thursday, October 3, 2024. This time, the BUMN business forum raised the theme "The Role of BUMN in Monitoring the National Development Agenda", highlighting the important contribution of BUMN in driving the Indonesian economy.
The event began with the launch of the book "Spiritual Leadership in the Midst of COVID-19 and Multidimensional Crisis" by Dr. Slamet Edy Purnomo, which discusses leadership strategies in dealing with crises, and was attended by well-known figures as panelists, one of whom was Mr. Kartika Wirjoatmodjo, Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) of the Republic of Indonesia.
At the peak of the event, The Asian Post Best State-Owned Enterprise 2024 gave awards to a number of BUMNs that had shown extraordinary performance throughout 2023. One of the highlights of the event was the awarding of PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (BKI) receiving two awards, namely The Most Profitable Non-Bank State-Owned Enterprise and The Best State-Owned Enterprise which were given directly by Dr. Slamet Edy Purnomo, SE, MM, as a Member of the Financial Supervisory Agency (BPK) of the Republic of Indonesia, together with Eko B. Supriyanto.
Eko B. Supriyanto, Chairman of Infobank Media Group and Expert Council of The Asian Post, said, "This award is a form of appreciation from The Asian Post and Infobank Media Group for SOEs that have successfully recorded their best performance, amidst the many SOEs that are still making losses, are in debt, and are unable to pay their obligations."
