SPTP Innovation Committee Chair, Umi Syarifah Ambarwati, explained that this year there were 66 teams from all terminal branches and subsidiaries participating in this annual competition. The seven best teams that have been selected through several stages today will make a presentation in front of the SPTP board of directors as the jury. In 2023, SPTP managed to become the 2nd winner and 1st hope in the Pelindo IDEA competition in Jakarta.
"We hope that all employees remain enthusiastic about creating innovation. Because this is an opportunity for participants to collaborate and show their concern for the progress of the company so that it can go hand in hand with the progress of the times," he added.
SPTP President Director, M. Adji, said that an adaptive company is characterized by innovation from within the company. This competition is an important momentum for SPTP because through the ideas produced, it is expected to have a big impact and be able to suppress efficiency.
"We see the ideas presented today have a fairly simple theme but have a big impact. We hope this innovation can be easily applied in the field and if this is realized, we from the board of directors will push it together," he added.
Pierre Rochel Tumbol (Terminal Teluk Lamong) with his two teammates, Rustan Abd. Rahman (TPK Bitung) and Alvin Timothius (ILCS), successfully created an innovation called Infinity. The application has an integrated platform that is able to serve centralized data exchange and can interact directly with service users (Shipping Line).
"The integrated platform feature increases the effectiveness of the current flow of document process through simplification and digitization of business processes. Digital data exchange produces more accurate data so that communication and information exchange processes can be carried out through a single digital platform," added Pierre.
Infinity managed to secure the first place title, followed by M-Force in second place, and SIP-K3 in third place. In addition, Infinity also won the favorite champion title through the voting system in the Portaverse application. These three champions will later compete in the innovation event at Pelindo Head Office, Jakarta.
