JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) - Koja Container Terminal (TPK) held another blood donation event, which is held routinely as a form of concern for others. For the 2nd blood donation this year, TPK Koja is targeting 100 donors from employees and the company environment.
"This activity is a commitment from the company as a form of concern and sharing with others who need blood, the hope is that if all people are healthy, our blood will also be healthy," said TPK Koja Corporate Secretary, Paulus Cahyandaru, on the sidelines of the Blood Donation event, today, Wednesday (24/07/2024).
By collaborating with the Central PMI, the routine was held in the multipurpose room on the 5th floor of the KSO TPK Koja Building, Jl Digul No.1 Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, starting at 09:00 until finished.
5 places have been prepared for blood collection where each donor will go through several stages before being declared fit to have their blood taken, including: Temperature check which must not exceed 37.5 degrees Celsius, then continued by filling out the form and answering each question in it.
In addition, prospective blood donors are also weighed to determine how much blood can be taken. And finally, blood pressure and blood viscosity are checked.
"If they pass all the screenings, new participants can donate their blood at the places provided and served by officers from PMI DKI Jakarta," added Dzul Haromain.
