JAKARTA (ISL News) - Accompanied by the Head of Traffic and Sea Transportation, Wim Parulian Hutajulu, in his presentation, Head of Tanjung Priok Main KSOP M.Takwin Masuku said that the preparation of a Port Master Plan (RIP) is an important step in port development. The Integrated Tanjung Priok and Marunda RIP is expected to increase logistics efficiency, overcome port operational stagnation, and support NLE.
M.Takwin Masuku said that the process of preparing the Integrated Tanjung Priok and Marunda RIP took 12 years, namely from 2012 to 2024. This shows that the process involved many parties and required sufficient time to reach an agreement and produce a comprehensive RIP and integrated.
'The socialization of KM No.11 of 2024 aims to provide information and understanding regarding the Integrated Tanjung Priok and Marunda RIP to related parties. "Apart from that, it is hoped that this event can establish collaboration and synergy to support port development," said M. Takwin Masuku, at the KM No.11 of 2024 Socialization event at the Merlynn Park Hotel, Central Jakarta, last Wednesday (12/6/2024) .
It was explained that the Integrated Tanjung Priok and Marunda RIP is expected to provide benefits, namely increasing logistics efficiency, overcoming port operational stagnation, supporting NLE, increasing regional and national economic growth, increasing access to national and international markets.
"The Tanjung Priok Main KSOP is committed to realizing the Integrated Tanjung Priok and Marunda RIP. "With support from all related parties, it is hoped that this RIP can bring progress to ports and the national economy," added Takwin.
