JAKARTA TANJUNG PRIOK (ISL News) - On February 21 2024, the Tanjung Priok Class I Sea and Coast Guard Base or PLP, Directorate General of Public Relations, happily held safety campaign sharing and socialization activities in commemoration of the PLP's 36th anniversary.
This activity was carried out among the fishing community at GOR Bahtera Beach in Pademangan Ancol on Wednesday, February 21 2024.
Dr. Triono S. Pel. MM, who led this activity, said that the aim of this sharing and outreach was to increase understanding and awareness of the importance of shipping safety among fishermen and the maritime community. In this activity, life jackets, life buoys and basic necessities were distributed to fishermen and maritime communities as an effort to support their safety at sea.
Chairman of the Fishermen's Association, Mr. Gani, also expressed his gratitude and birthday wishes to PLP and Pangkalan. He also expressed his gratitude to the government for paying attention to the fishing community through Pangkalan PLP, and felt protected and sheltered by the presence of PLP. Mr. Gani hopes that this relationship can be sustainable and harmonious, as well as mutual synergy for the sake of safety and prosperity.
