JAKARTA (ISL News) - For the first time, IPC Terminal Container Area Panjang, a subsidiary of Sub Holding Pelindo Terminal Container, serves the longest ship in the history of loading and unloading services at Panjang Port. This New Panamax Container Ship type ship belonging to the shipping company MSC has a length of 300 meters with a maximum capacity of up to 14,500 TEU. The docking of the ship is a form of support to encourage import and export, especially Lampung Province's leading commodities, namely coffee and pineapple.
IPC TPK President Director Guna Mulyana expressed his appreciation for MSC's trust in docking the MV MSC Magnum VII from Poland at the IPC TPK Panjang Area. He also added that the ship which broke the service record in the Panjang Area was supporting export-import activities in Lampung Province.
