TELUK BAYUR INDONESIA (ISL News) - IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) continues to strengthen its commitment to improving the efficiency and reliability of maritime logistics services, especially in the West Sumatra region. This is evidenced by the signing of the Berthing Window, Service Level Agreement (SLA), and Service Level Guarantee (SLG) contracts for 2026 for IPC TPK Teluk Bayur. This strategic signing ceremony was carried out with four main service users, namely PT Meratus Line, PT Tanto Intim Line, PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines (SPIL), and PT Temas Shipping, which took place in Jakarta on Thursday (23/7/2026).

IPC TPK's Director of Operations & Engineering, Ahmad Mimbar, stated that this collaboration represents a concrete step for the company to ensure optimal service for strategic service users. "The signing of the Berthing Window, SLA, and SLG is part of our efforts to strengthen our relationship as terminal operators and service users, which will ultimately lead to meeting service expectations," said Ahmad Mimbar.

The signing ceremony was witnessed and attended by the General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Teluk Bayur, Ferrial Dunan Sidabutar. The signing ceremony was attended by Andreas Kusumah Wardhana Tuelah, Operations Support Manager of IPC TPK Teluk Bayur, representing the management. This collaboration is expected to optimize loading and unloading productivity and provide more measurable operational certainty for container ships docked in West Sumatra.

As one of the main gateway ports on the west coast of Sumatra, the Teluk Bayur Container Terminal plays a vital role in supporting regional and national trade flows by improving operational performance. With these new SLA and SLG commitments, IPC TPK strives to provide transparent and accountable services. The four major shipping lines involved will benefit from improved operational time efficiency, supported by the readiness of the terminal's infrastructure and superstructure.

"We hope today's signing will ensure smooth operations and increase terminal productivity, ensuring efficiency and optimal operation," Ahmad concluded.
