JAKARTA INDONESIA (ISL News) - PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX: IPCC) received an academic visit from around 100 Marine Science students from Jenderal Soedirman University as part of the Company Visit 2026. This activity aims to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the port industry, especially vehicle logistics, while also introducing IPCC's strategic role in supporting the national automotive supply chain. In the presentation session, IPCC's Assistant Senior Manager of Corporate Communication & CSR, Moch. Ilhamsyah, delivered material on the company profile, business services, and vehicle terminal operational processes that prioritize efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
The series of activities began with a visit to the Indonesian Maritime Museum to learn about Indonesia's maritime history, followed by a presentation session on the IPCC, and a field visit to the vehicle terminal operational area so that participants could directly observe the company's business processes. Annisa Putri Maharani, Public Relations Project Officer of HIMAKEL Unsoed, said, "This activity provides new experiences and broadens our insight into port operations." In line with this, the Chairperson of the Unsoed Marine Science Student Association, Fatih Almeda Dikanopan, explained, "This Company Visit aims to broaden our understanding of Pelindo's business sector, especially the IPCC, and is expected to open up opportunities for sustainable collaboration in the future." The representative of the Indonesian Maritime Museum, Mr. Andi, also encouraged students to continue to explore knowledge and broaden their perspectives through company visits as a means of learning directly from the industrial world.
IPCC's Assistant Senior Manager of Corporate Communication & CSR, Moch. Ilhamsyah, added, "We hope this visit can provide a real-life picture of how the port and vehicle terminal ecosystem operates. Through direct interaction with the industrial world, students are expected to be increasingly encouraged to develop their competencies, broaden their perspectives, and prepare themselves to become talents capable of contributing to the advancement of the maritime sector, particularly Indonesia's national automotive logistics."
