BALI (ISL News) - The Indonesia Maritime Pilots' Association (INAMPA), which was founded on March 11, 2023, will host the 27th International Maritime Association Congress at The Apurva Kempinski Bali Hotel and Resort from August 23-28, 2026.
The congress will be officially opened by the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure & Regional Development Dr. H. Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, M.Sc., MPA, MA , together with the Secretary General of IMO Arsenio Antonio Domínguez Velasco , the Governor of Bali I Wayan Koster, the President of INAMPA Pasoroan Herman Harianja, and the President of IMPA Capt. Simon Pelletier.
The Inampa Congress will also be attended by VIP guests invited by INAMPA, including; the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, the Deputy Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, the Director General of Sea Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, the Head of the Transportation Policy Agency (BKT) of the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia.
The Inampa Congress also invited the Secretary of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, the Director of Ports of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation , the Director of Navigation of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation who will attend the Congress, and other officials at the Directorate General of Sea Transportation. In addition, the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy, the Head of BAKAMLA of the Republic of Indonesia, the Chairman of the KNKT of the Republic of Indonesia, the Directors of Pelindo, the Directors/Heads of Port Business Entities (BUP), management of ship pilotage and towing services from all over Indonesia, including BUMN, BUMD, and Privately Owned Enterprises ( BUMS ), as well as Maritime Pilot Officers who are members of INAMPA from all over Indonesia including the DPP Management, DPW INAMPA and the wives of Indonesian Maritime Pilot Officers.
In addition, it was also attended by Congress Participant Companions, Observers/Delegates from various International Agencies or Organizations such as IMO, IALA and others. During the Congress, a Maritime Exhibition was held. The implementation of this Congress is a hard effort from the DPP and DPW INAMPA Management to advance the maritime sector in Indonesia, especially in the areas of Maritime Safety, Maritime Security, Maritime Environmental Protection, and Maritime Sustainability.
The 27th IMPA Congress which will take place in Bali-Indonesia, will provide benefits in 5 (five) categories:
